“Origami-Folding,” a free program, will be presented by Scott Macri of the Hawaii Origami Club at Hawaii Kai Public Library on Saturday, April 28 at 1 p.m. in the Meeting Room.

Macri will provide an informational and interactive program about the different genres of origami.  He will showcase various types of origami models, and there will be a question-and-answer session.  Seating is limited; origami paper will be provided.

Macri has more than 15 years of origami-folding experience and has created origami with many folding styles such as traditional, complex, wet-folding, unit, modular polyhedra, tessellations, crease patterns, origamics, science, and technology.      

This three-hour program is suitable for ages 12 and older.  Contact the Library as soon as possible if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
