New McDonald's Aina Haina restaurant opens | Business

McDonald's restaurant in Aina Haina opened its doors to the public Thursday morning.

The new restaurant is located near the original McDonald's in Aina Haina, the company's first restaurant in the state, which opened more than four decades ago.

The brand new facility features a contemporary design, an outdoor seating area and new double-lane drive-thru.

The restaurant is located at the Aina Haina Shopping center.

McDonald's Restaurants of Hawaii has 85 locations and more than 5,200 employees.
