Kahala Mall Announces New General Manager

HONOLULU – MMI Realty Services, Inc., a commercial and property management and leasing company, today announced Stephanie England as its new General Manager for Kahala Mall, Kapolei Shopping Center, Hunakai Office Building and Hawaii Opera Plaza. In her new position, England will lead all four properties, overseeing operations, leasing, capital projects and tenant coordination.  England is replacing Floyd Williamson who will be retiring in late October.

 

England most recently served as general manager of Kamehameha Shopping Center. She has worked with MMI Realty Services, Inc. for a number of years in various capacities and brings a wealth of property management, construction and operations experience to the four properties.

McNish previously served as legal counsel for RevoluSun and Distributed Energy Partners prior to the two entities splitting into separate business units last month, and before that worked as an associate attorney at Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing.

In her new role, Kopelevich will lead overall marketing strategy and oversee strategic communications, brand management, advertising and promotions, community outreach, customer programs, and event coordination.

 

Prior to RevoluSun, Kopelevich served as a Communications/Intranet Analyst for HawkTree International in Honolulu and Marketing Manager for ReR USA in Denver, Colorado.

Kopelevich is a graduate of the University of Colorado Denver, where she earned a bachelor of fine arts in animation and film. She is a member of  the University of Colorado Alumni Association, where she serves on the scholarship committee and volunteers with the Hawaiian Humane Society.

Atlas Insurance Agency, Inc., Hawaii’s largest locally owned and managed insurance agency, has announced the appointments of Mike Ayson, Sandy Ferreira and Dana Tokioka as Assistant Vice Presidents in it Client Consulting Group.

Michael Ayson has over 12 years of experience in the insurance industry and will continue to be responsible for servicing the company’s AOAO clients. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Hawaii and is a member of the Financial Management Association.

Sandra Ferreira has nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and will continue to be responsible for the development, sales and servicing of the company’s commercial clients. She holds a degree in Business from St. Pete Junior College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Kahala Mall Partners with Whole Foods Market® to recreate exterior seating at mall entrance

HONOLULU – Kahala Mall today announced it is partnering with Whole Foods Market to expand, modernize and refresh the exterior seating area and landscaping outside of Starbucks and Whole Foods Market Kahala.

 

“In an effort to make our outdoor areas even more enjoyable for mall visitors, we are embarking on this refurbishment that we expect to be completed before Thanksgiving – just in time for holiday shopping,” said Stephanie England, Kahala Mall’s General Manager.

 

The construction began last month, and throughout the process some seating will still be available. In mid-September the barricade in front of the store will be moved to the Starbucks side.  By November, mall visitors can expect to see new, custom-made seating and tables.
