See Special Storytime with Lani Moo at Hawaii Kai Library | Events
In celebration of the 2012 HSPLS Children’s Summer Reading Program, “A Special Storytime with Lani Moo” will be presented at Hawaii Kai Public Library on Saturday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m.
The free event featuring Lani Moo, the Meadow Gold cow mascot, will be conducted in the Meeting Room. Keiki ages 5 and older, accompanied by a parent or caregiver, are invited to listen to stories and sing songs about cows, other farm animals, and dairy products.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to bring their cameras for a photo opportunity of their keiki with Lani Moo. The event will also include simple crafts, a special snack, and complimentary items.
Contact the Library as soon as possible if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
The 2012 HSPLS Summer Reading Programs are sponsored through a grant from the Friends of the Library of Hawaii, Marriott Resorts Hawaii, Ko Olina Hawaii, Meadow Gold Dairies, HMS Host, Hansen Distribution Group, Armstrong Produce, Bowman Connectivity Solutions, Toshiba Business Solutions, Girard’s Dressing, Roberts Hawaii, The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, National Football League Charities, and Aloha United Way.
