Part of Hawaii Kai shifted from Senate District 8 to Senate District 25
The following information is provided by the Hawaii Kai Chamber of Commerce:
The State has redrawn the State Senate District boundaries for the 2012 - 2022 elections based on the 2010 census. A large portion of Hawaii Kai has been shifted from Senate District 8 (Sam Slom) to Senate District 25. That means many of your members will be looking at a completely new list of State Senate candidates this year.
The Hawaii Kai chamber of Commerce invites you to a complimentary Meet & Greet of all the Candidates on August 9th from 5:30-7:30pm. (Location TBA) Come meet and ask questions of those who will be fighting for your community.
