Gourmet pupus, hosted libations and a silent auction will adorn the oceanfront estate of Kathy Ireland (5505 Kalanianaole Hwy) on Fri., July 20, from 7 - 10 p.m. at the inaugural Equality Gala to benefit Equality Hawaii Foundaiton.
The Ireland estate is the ideal backdrop for the inaugural Equality Gala, which is designed to be a fashionable launch for Equality Hawaii Foundation's annual fund.
The estate not only offers stunning sunset views, but is also home to the Elizabeth Taylor bedroom, the retreat where the film icon stayed while visiting Oahu.

Donors making an annual pledge of $1,000 or more will become members of Equality Hawaii's Ali'i Kikowaena, our annual giving circle of sustainers of equality in Hawaii.
The event will also showcase the first presentation of Equality Hawaii Foundation's Voice of Equality Awards, honors presented to individuals and organizations who have supported our mission of equality for all Hawaii's LGBT people and their families. The first recipients of these honors are listed to the right.
The silent auction includes a five-night trip to Las Vegas, a four-night stay in the penthouse at the Maui Sunseeker LGBT Resort, artwork by some of Hawaii's most noted artists and enticing gift selections.
