Foodland’s Give Aloha Annual Community Matching Gifts Program Raises $1,838,496.56

Standing in the new Aina Haina Foodland Farms I eagerly waited to see the big check reveal! Since 1999, Foodland has been supporting Hawaii’s non-profit organizations with their Give Aloha Community Matching Gifts Program. During the month of September, customers are encouraged to donate to their favorite Hawaii charities at any Foodland and Sack N Save checkouts statewide. Give Aloha directs its’ charitable giving to the organizations that are important to their customers. What makes this program even more impactful is that Foodland and the Western Union Foundation also match a portion of customer total donations.

As Jenai S. Wall, Foodland Chairman and CEO, walked up to the podium she appeared to be smiling ear to ear.
